Terms & Conditions

  1. The quotation is subject to the Conditions of Sale of Louth Timber Products Limited. Copy on request. All prices are compiled on the basis of material and labour costs ruling at the date of the quotation and are subject to variation due to any changes
  2. The quotation is based on our interpretation of your requirements, should there be any discrepancies we reserve the right to re-quote. Please note the quotation is for Supply Only and is valid for 30 days.  
  3. Placing an Order – By issuing a Purchase Order, paying a deposit, or issuing an instruction you are accepting our terms and conditions as outlined in our conditions of sale.  
  4. Deliveries - Louth Timber Products understands the importance of providing customers with realistic delivery lead-times. However, while we make every effort to keep our lead-times to a minimum and ensure we meet the requirements of our project deadlines, we cannot guarantee delivery dates, we will provide an estimated time of arrival as a delivery indicator. All deliveries must be inspected at the time of delivery and any defects should be reported on the delivery docket.  
  5. Order Acknowledgements – An order acknowledgement will be sent to the customer confirming the order, the customer must sign this prior to an order been placed with our factory. Note: No cancellations, No changes can be made once the order is placed with the factory. No delivery can be agreed until a full sign of schedules is received from the customer. Any amendments will push the order back.  
  6. Site Dimensions – Important note: The quotation is for supply only, it’s the customers responsibility to issue the correct dimensions, material requirements, handing’s and to ensure the correct tolerances are noted for their project at the time of placing an order.  
  7. Site Access – Delivery to site, Off-loading and distribution by main contractor. Details should be given, i.e., any restrictions or special requirements.
  8. Machined Timber – Machined timber is quoted in linear metres and is subject to the availability of lengths at time of ordering. 
  9. Drawings & Specifications – Louth Timber Products will not accept enquires submitted in a Dropbox or similar format due to the time frame required to find the relevant information and the likelihood of information being missed or drawings been updated to ourselves. The customer should select and submit the relevant drawings and specifications for their project that they require Louth Timber Products to quote.
  10. Order Changes - Louth Timber Products will not accept changes made via Phone Call, Whatsapp or Text Message - All changes must be submitted and confirmed via email. 
  11. Samples – A limited number of samples are available depending on the value of the order, if a sample is required this can be priced on a time and material basis.
  12. Storage of Joinery – Do not install joinery into freshly plastered areas. Joinery must be stored in a clean dry moisture free area. Joinery is made using a natural product i.e. wood and will shrink and expand. All Joinery should be stored flat above the ground on level packing/skids. 
  13. Solid Timber & Veneer – Timber and Veneer products are natural products and will vary in colour, grain consistency and patterns this is part of the character of a natural timber. 
  14. Guarantee – Under our guarantee, our liability is limited to replacing the product and no liability is accepted for any other consequential costs.
  15. Glass quoted is fitted with a hockey slip i.e. rebated out over the face of the door, we can fit a flush glazing bead, however there is an additional charge.
  16. Laminate Doors – The quotation is priced using a standard size and colour range of laminate, specials outside of this range will incur an additional charge. 
  17. Title of Goods – The goods remain the property of Louth Timber Products until paid for in full.  Paid when Paid – Louth Timber Products will not accept under any circumstances a paid when paid clause, all goods must be paid within the terms of our conditions of sale. 
  18. Prices – Louth Timber Products reserve the right to increase our prices and will issue a 30 day notice period. ​
